A striking Art Deco burr walnut wardrobe dating from approximately the 1930s, combining richly figured veneers, elegant period detailing and generous bedroom storage.
The wardrobe has a beautifully balanced architectural design, with a broad stepped pelmet, book-matched burr walnut panels and a tall central door fitted with its original bevelled-edge mirror. The dramatic grain pattern creates a strong symmetrical appearance, while the restrained detailing and shaped feet give the piece a refined Art Deco character.
Behind the three doors is a spacious full-width cupboard interior suitable for hanging clothes and general bedroom storage. A large drawer across the base provides additional space for folded clothing, bedding or accessories.
The original mirror has only minor foxing, although some ghosting can be seen from certain angles. This is consistent with its age and adds authentic vintage character.

Construction and Delivery
The wardrobe separates into three sections:
- Top pelmet
- Main cupboard section
- Bottom drawer and base section
For transport, the wardrobe will be delivered as two packages, making it easier to move into position.
Condition
Good antique condition with marks, scratches, veneer wear and fading consistent with age and previous use.
There are cracks to the veneer on both lower side panels within the drawer section. These are cosmetic and do not affect the structure, stability or usability of the wardrobe.
The original mirror has minor foxing and some visible ghosting. Please examine all photographs carefully, as they form an important part of the condition description.
