A handsome 19th-century Victorian four-tier corner whatnot shelf unit, featuring decorative turned supports, barley-twist detailing and shaped shelf fronts.
Designed to sit neatly into the corner of a room, the shelves gradually increase in depth from top to bottom, creating an elegant tapered form while providing useful display space for books, ceramics, plants and decorative objects.
The rich polished wood has an attractive warm tone and visible grain, with turned finials and decorative supports adding plenty of period character.
