A charming antique mahogany drop-leaf Pembroke table, believed to date from the 19th century, featuring an attractive warm wood finish, elegant turned legs and a practical fitted drawer.
This traditional table combines timeless period styling with versatile functionality, making it a wonderful addition to a country cottage, period home or contemporary interior.
The beautifully figured mahogany top displays a rich, warm colour with natural grain and an attractive aged patina. Two hinged drop leaves allow the tabletop to be extended from a compact 46 cm wide to a generous 92.5 cm, providing useful additional surface space when required.
Standing on four elegantly turned and tapered legs with decorative ring detailing, the table retains its traditional character. A single drawer with two wooden knobs offers convenient storage for cutlery, stationery or small household essentials.
With its adaptable design and compact proportions, this antique table would work beautifully as a small dining table, occasional breakfast table, writing desk or decorative side table.
