A striking antique Edwardian oak hall stand, dating from circa 1900–1910, with strong Arts and Crafts influence and a highly practical combination of coat storage, mirror, glove box and umbrella stand.
The tall, narrow proportions make this an excellent piece for a hallway or entrance space, providing plenty of useful storage without taking up too much floor area.
The upper section features sweeping shaped arms fitted with turned wooden pegs for coats and hats. At the centre is the original circular mirror, which displays slight age-related foxing and adds to the authentic period character of the piece.
Below is a hinged glove or accessory box, ideal for keys, gloves and other small hallway items. Metal side rails provide support for umbrellas or walking sticks, while the lower section incorporates a metal-lined drip tray.
The pierced lower support and gently shaped arms give the stand a distinctive Arts and Crafts character, while the oak has developed an attractive warm colour and natural patina over more than a century.
A practical and decorative piece of early 20th-century hallway furniture, suitable for a period home, country house or character interior.

Condition
Good antique condition with wear and tear commensurate with age and use.
The oak displays natural colour variation, surface marks, scuffs, minor knocks and signs of age consistent with a piece over 100 years old.
The original circular mirror remains in place and displays slight age-related foxing. The storage box, pegs and umbrella section remain present and functional.
