A stylish vintage Lebus Art Deco oak sideboard cabinet, dating from the 1930s / 1940s and offering a practical combination of cupboard and drawer storage.
This characterful cabinet has a warm oak finish with attractive grain, rounded side doors, shaped decorative corner detailing, long wooden handles and bold rounded pedestal feet. The design has a strong Art Deco influence, with curved lines and compact proportions that make it both decorative and useful.
The layout is ideal for modern storage needs. A central bank of three drawers is flanked by two cupboard sections, giving plenty of space for dining room items, linens, household storage, records, books or hallway essentials. The cupboard interiors and drawer bases have patterned lining, adding a neat decorative finish.
The cabinet retains its original Lebus Furniture maker’s badge, adding provenance and interest. Lebus were a well-known British furniture maker, producing practical and stylish furniture throughout the early and mid 20th century.
