A substantial vintage Ercol Old Colonial sideboard, model 331, dating from the mid-20th century.
Finished in the traditional dark colourway, the sideboard features two drawers above a pair of panelled cupboard doors.
One of the drawers retains its removable divided cutlery tray, while the cupboard interior provides generous storage with an internal shelf.
The design is unmistakably Ercol Old Colonial, with turned wooden handles, panelled doors and sides, decorative central wooden catch and a gently shaped overhanging top.
Constructed from elm and beech, the piece has a rich warm finish and a solid, traditional appearance that works beautifully in country, period and eclectic interiors.
Condition
Good vintage condition and structurally sound. There are some cosmetic marks, scratches and signs of age and use, particularly to the top surface, but overall the sideboard presents very well.

We really like the traditional character of this Ercol sideboard. The dark Old Colonial finish gives it a lovely warm look, while the drawers, cutlery tray and generous cupboard storage make it an exceptionally practical piece.
