Bring character and practical storage to your home with this elegant Queen Anne-style writing bureau, dating from approximately the 1920s.
The bureau is finished in richly figured walnut veneer, with an especially striking book-matched grain pattern across the curved cylinder front. Its warm timber tones, decorative brass drop handles and shaped cabriole legs give it a refined period appearance, while its compact size makes it suitable for a study, living room, bedroom or hallway.
The cylinder opens to reveal a fitted writing interior with pigeonholes, shelves, vertical document divisions and a small internal drawer. The fold-down writing surface is inset with green writing material and supported by metal stays.
Below the writing section are three graduated drawers, providing useful storage for paperwork, stationery and everyday essentials.
