A handsome Victorian mahogany Duchess dressing table dating from the 19th century, featuring an impressive oval mirror and beautifully detailed carved supports.
The demi-lune shaped dressing table has a warm mahogany top with a single central drawer and moulded edge. The large oval swing mirror is held between carved scrolling uprights with decorative foliate detailing, while the lower section incorporates an attractive shaped platform base and substantial carved supports.
The mahogany has developed a rich colour and patina over time, giving the piece a wonderfully decorative appearance.

Condition: Good antique condition with expected age-related marks and wear. There are historical repairs and some bubbling/lifting to the veneer around the mirror frame. The mirror plate shows extensive period foxing and spotting. The dressing table is structurally sound and ready for use.
