A beautifully designed vintage Ercol Windsor dining chair, featuring the elegant “flying back” profile that makes this model so distinctive.
The chair combines a richly figured solid elm seat with a light beech frame, shaped backrest and gently splayed legs. Its sculptural form and warm blonde finish give it a timeless appearance that works equally well in mid-century, Scandinavian-inspired, country and contemporary interiors.
Originally made as a practical dining or kitchen chair, it would also make an attractive occasional chair for a bedroom, hallway or home office. The shaped seat and curved back provide comfortable everyday seating while showcasing Ercol’s celebrated British craftsmanship.
