A particularly attractive Edwardian Inlaid Mahogany Chest of Drawers dating from the early 20th century.
Constructed in richly figured mahogany, the chest features two short drawers over two long drawers, providing generous storage whilst maintaining elegant proportions. The top displays beautiful flame mahogany figuring and is finished with a subtle inlaid border.
Raised on tapered legs with brass cup castors, the chest has a lighter appearance than many comparable pieces. The brass swan-neck handles do not appear to be original and are likely later replacements.

Good antique condition with age-related wear, marks and scratches consistent with age and use. Handles appear to be later replacements.
Our Opinion
We particularly like the proportions of this piece. The combination of figured mahogany, elegant inlay and substantial storage makes it both highly practical and visually impressive, whilst the raised design prevents it from appearing overly heavy despite its generous size.
