This attractive Victorian chest of drawers features two short drawers over three full-width drawers, wooden knobs and rounded front corners. The simple traditional design gives it a timeless country house look, while the generous drawer space makes it a highly practical storage piece.
The pine has a lovely mellow colour with natural variation, knots and age-related character throughout. It would suit a bedroom, hallway, landing or cottage style interior beautifully.
Condition is good antique condition with wear and tear commensurate with age and use. There are marks, scratches, knocks, scuffs, colour variation and surface wear, particularly to the top, as shown in the photographs. The drawer fronts, edges and base also show age-related wear consistent with genuine Victorian pine furniture.
