A handsome antique Victorian mahogany sideboard with a rich polished finish, four cupboard doors and useful drawer storage.
This substantial sideboard has four drawers above four cupboard doors, offering excellent practical storage. The cupboard sections include internal shelving, making it well suited to use in a dining room, hallway, living room or period interior.
The piece has attractive arched panel doors, carved side supports, a shaped overhanging top and a plinth base. The mahogany has a warm colour and polished finish, giving the sideboard a strong traditional appearance.
The handles and catches are replacements. Condition is good antique condition with wear and tear commensurate with age and use. There are marks, scratches, knocks, scuffs and wear to the finish, particularly to the top and edges, as shown in the photographs. The sideboard remains solid, practical and ready for use.
