The stool is constructed in oak with a rectangular frame, shaped cabriole legs and pad feet. The padded top is upholstered in a decorative floral tapestry-style fabric in warm muted tones.
The oak has developed a rich colour and attractive patina, while the traditional form gives the piece a classic country house appearance. The screw caps visible to the frame are later additions.
