A handsome antique Edwardian mahogany drop leaf side table, dating to around c1900, combining elegant proportions with practical everyday use.
The table features a compact rectangular top with two drop leaves, allowing the surface to be extended when needed and folded down neatly to save space. A useful single front drawer with dark knob handles provides handy storage, while the slender square tapering legs and shaped undertier give the piece a refined Edwardian appearance.
The mahogany has developed a warm colour and attractive patina over time, giving the table plenty of character while remaining easy to place in both traditional and contemporary interiors.
