A magnificent antique burr walnut double wardrobe, likely dating from the late Victorian or early 20th-century period, featuring beautifully figured walnut veneers, an elegant arched top and classical architectural detailing.
The two full-length doors display richly figured, bookmatched burr walnut veneers, with striking swirling grain patterns and warm golden-brown tones. The distinctive arched cornice is complemented by decorative fluted columns to either side, while the wardrobe stands on four shaped feet.
Opening the doors reveals a spacious interior with a full-width hanging rail, additional hanging hooks and useful storage space above the rail. The traditional wooden panelled back adds to the wardrobe's period character.
A substantial and attractive piece of antique bedroom furniture, ideal for a period property, country house or traditional bedroom. The beautifully aged walnut finish offers warmth, character and timeless appeal.
Condition
Good antique condition overall, with wear and tear commensurate with age, including marks, scratches, minor imperfections and variations to the finish.

The door catch is working, although no key is currently supplied, so the wardrobe cannot be locked.
