A delightful set of four Early 20th Century Oak Ladder Back Dining Chairs, comprising a matching pair of Oak Carver Chairs and two Side Chairs.
Constructed from solid oak and retaining their traditional rush seats, these chairs embody the charm and practicality of classic English country furniture. The shaped ladder backs, warm oak colour and well-proportioned design make them equally suitable for dining rooms, farmhouse kitchens and country house interiors.
The pair of Carver Chairs provide comfortable seating at the heads of a table, whilst the matching side chairs complete the set beautifully.
The oak has developed a lovely colour and patina over the years, and the rush seats remain in good usable condition.
Condition
Good condition for their age with age-related wear, marks and imperfections consistent with years of use.
There are a couple of historic repairs to the legs, visible in the photographs. These appear stable and do not affect the strength or usability of the chairs.
The chairs remain solid, sturdy and ready for use.

A particularly attractive and practical set of Oak Dining Chairs. We especially like the combination of traditional ladder backs and rush seats, which gives the chairs genuine country house character without being overly formal.
