A handsome original 1930s Art Deco / Utility era oak chest of drawers, produced by Herbert E. Gibbs. Crafted in solid oak with attractive quarter-sawn grain, this compact chest features the clean, understated styling that bridges the late Art Deco and early Utility periods.
The chest offers three generously sized drawers, each fitted with its original carved oak handles, standing on shaped bracket feet with a raised gallery to the rear. Its compact proportions make it ideal for use as a bedroom chest, hallway storage, or as a stylish side cabinet in a living room.
