Early 19th Century Georgian Mahogany Swing Dressing Table Mirror
A fine example of late Georgian craftsmanship, this c.1810 mahogany dressing table or toilet mirror exudes elegance and practicality. Retaining its original mirror plate, it is housed within a beautifully crossbanded frame. The mirror is angle-adjustable, supported by gracefully turned uprights with ball finials.
The base showcases stunning flame mahogany veneers and a bow-fronted plinth, incorporating three small drawersfor added functionality. Raised on short, turned feet, the piece is further enhanced by delicate satinwood stringing, fine inlaid details, and a bone escutcheon, reflecting the refined craftsmanship of the period.
